The City of Pembroke Pines “Pines Web Service” (PWS) is a convenient, easy to use service tool located on the city’s website to provide residents and businesses access to a variety of City services. PWS can be found at https://pembrokepinesfl-energovweb.tylerhost.net/apps/selfservice#/home or a link on the homepage of www.ppines. com just below the SEARCH bar and throughout various department pages including Utilities and Building.
The Utility’s Citizen Self-Service Portal, which is part of PWS, securely connects people with their utility content, data and services. It gives customers the ability to designate emailed bills, paper bills or both, review monthly consumption, billing, f inancial history, pay utility bill(s) online, sign up for autopay, print bills etc. Information regarding the new Utility Billing System can be found in this issue of City Connect, as well as on the city’s website and YouTube Channel under Pembroke Pines Media.
The Development HUB, which debuts via PWS on April 4, 2022, allows residents, businesses and contractors to submit and pay for building permits, development applications, tree removal permits and local business tax receipts (LBTRs) online. The HUB, also known as Enterprise Permitting and Licensing (FKA EnerGov), is part of the EnerGov program from Tyler so applicants that have created accounts in other cities can use their same credentials.
The HUB will be used for applications for the following departments and procedures:
- Local Business Tax Receipts: LTBRs
- Special Events
- Building Department: Broward County Building Safety Inspection Program
- Building Permits; Architectural Review
- Planning and Economic Development Department: Pre Application Submission for Development Applications (New Development)
- Tree Removal
- Landscape Permits
- Land Use, Zoning and Platting; Environmental Services: Civil Permits; Engineering Permits; Seal Coating, Paving and Drainage
- and Code Compliance: Property Search
- Reporting a Concern.
Please note, that if a building permit was applied for prior to April 4, 2022, it will be converted into the HUB. The point of reference is the application number that was received when originally applied. Also, now through April 4, 2022, the City will be transitioning to the new Development HUB so applicants are encouraged to be prepared for possible delays – the Development HUB will allow applicants to submit development related permits, plans and business tax receipts online. The City appreciates your patience during this transition.
